Throughout the day, the junior family members established a mobile operations center and further established our research base at the temple. Another Rossellini cousin of mine arrived - Griselda Rossellini. Her presence is potentially concerning, but I have full confidence in my ability. She will be useful in our endeavors with the temple whenever I am personally unavailable to survey it. We learned for certain that the Tremere called Seven is attempting to spy on us and that he is the one summoning Benjamin via presence. Altogether, his attempts have been consistently blatant and pathetic; he would not have earned the embrace were he a Giovanni.

I took it upon myself to have a conversation with my Aunt Lucretia and the other Anziani at the embassy prior to her arrival at the temple. I believe this was a wise decision, though I somewhat mishandled the expression of my personal thoughts when I’d finally spoken to them. Nervousness is not something I typically encounter. Still, despite my somewhat disorganized spiel, I was successful in my goal. I have been placed in total command of the Giovanni’s operations at the temple. My mission, above all else, is to keep the presence of the Giovanni and of the temple a secret while we uncover the hidden truths the anomaly has to offer. I was not afraid when I approached my elders, and I am not afraid now, with my new responsibility. I am the soul of the Giovanni.
